Premiere league ball

I have been working at Bravia Capital for 3 years now and I get on really well with my colleagues who have the same work hard/play hard mentality as myself. When we are not working ourselves crazy, we all love to watch the Premier League. As my colleague Bharat Bhise and I look forward to the upcoming Premier League season we have been making some picks for who will be the most exciting players to watch. Bharat and I so very rarely agree on anything related to football, which is why we have debated long and hard about this list. Bharat does have a great eye for spotting talent to be fair, so I have leaned more towards his picks than my own. Nonetheless we have arrived at our list of players who we can’t wait to watch this season, see if you agree.

James Maddison

22 year old James Maddison was a break out star for Leicester last season, racking up 8 goals and 8 assists. Leicester will be an exciting team to watch this year and Brendan Rodgers will have been working hard with the young Englishman to help him realize his full potential. This year we expect to see Maddison double last year’s figures and really show the world what he is about.

Tanguy N’Dombele

Spurs have made a great signing in Tanguy N’Dombele and we can’t wait to watch the Frenchman play. Touted as the next Michael Essien this kid has it all, strength, speed, skill and a great eye for a pass. If this is the player that everyone expects then he could really make the difference for this Spurs side and their pursuit of that long awaited trophy.

Christian Pulisic

Given the transfer ban imposed on Chelsea, they only have 2 hopes in covering the position of Eden Hazard, the first is Ross Barkley who has struggled so far for the Blues, and the second is the new arrival of American Christian Pulisic. Pulisic was signed prior to the ban coming into place and could well be the savior of the Blues’ season. Pulisic is tricky, speedy and has a great eye for the game. Having just lit up the Gold Cup, Pulisic will be champing at the bit to try and fill the he boots left by Eden Hazard.

David Brooks

Bournemouth youngster David Brooks is one of the Wales’ most exciting young talents and he showed us some glimpses of what was to come from him last season with seven goals and five assists. Brooks has a wonderful style of play and he poses questions to defenders that they just don’t have an answer for. Brooks plays best coming off the right wing and he is in the perfect team to showcase his talents and improve under Eddie Howe, this could be the year that everyone is talking about David Brooks.

Joe Gomez

Gomez will add even more strength to this brilliant Liverpool backline and it is incredible that someone so young is missed when he is injured. Gomez can cover at right back if needed and despite his young age, he is going to be a true powerhouse for the Reds this season, and we can’t wait to see it.

What are your thoughts? Agree with Bharat and myself or do you have some other players in mind?
